Ray Emery Drive Relocation

Dempsey Wood's track record on previous civil works projects for Auckland International Airport Ltd was a key factor in us being selected to undertake the realignment of the main access road to the International Terminal.

Carried out in close proximity to the major terminal meant our traffic and pedestrian management planning and controls had to be very precise to ensure public safety was maintained and that delays to road users did not occur.

Key aspects of the scope of works included pavement construction and surfacing, relocation of utility services, sewer and stormwater works and lighting.

Dempsey Wood's successful undertaking of the Ray Emery Drive Relocation was a major component in the award of the George Bolt Memorial Drive Roundabout whilst the contract was still in progress, followed by the International Terminal Forecourt Upgrade upon its completion.
