Since 2005, Dempsey Wood has gained considerable civil works experience within the airport environment by carrying out a range of contracts at Auckland Airport.

Auckland Airport's Long-Term Carpark Extension
This extension to the long-term carpark entailed providing 500 spaces over a 1.2ha site and comprised site clearance, bulk earthworks, kerb and channelling, light pole installation, ducting, sealing and marking.
Auckland Airport's Recreation Park & Childcare Facility
Dempsey Wood constructed the new road access to AIAL’s Marae, golf course and childcare facilities as well as an 800m2 Cupolex slab for the childcare facility, which was redesigned, consented and built to tight construction deadlines.
Northern Airport Business Park Drainage Contract
Completed ahead of schedule, this contract involved the installation of approximately 400 metres of 1,050mmØ stormwater pipe. Associated works included manholes, outlet structures and reinstatement works.
